Why Are Cigar Matches So Special?

Using a cigar match is a classic way to light a cigar. But, have you ever wondered why you need a special match to light a cigar, and what is so special about these?


Although lighting a cigar with a lighter is faster and easier, lighting a cigar with a cigar match is a classic and gentleman's way. In addition, there is something special about lighting a cigar with a special matchstick.

1. What is special about these cigar matches?


For true cigar lovers, wooden cigar matchsticks are still a simple form of their enjoyment of cigars. It is also believed that if the correct method is taken, lighting a cigar with wooden matchsticks can give the whole thing a certain degree of elegance.
